That reminded me of this song. OMFG it makes my music collection sound soft in comparison.

Bonkers  haha, thats all I used to listen to, Bonkers. Before I came here I got pretty bored, and went to gabber, then got bored and went to much softer tunes. I'd still recommend Bonkers, it's only the last tracks on the cd which are really hardcore. I've a strong feeling I've heard that song alot, but I don't have it on any of my computers.. maybe I seen a remixed version live or something. :D

Dieselboy 11-17-2009 05:11 PM

Scott Brown is definitely the man...so many good tunes. This song used to be my absolute favorite. Could listen to it over and over:

The piano part at 1:30 blows me away still. ><

Another newer song that I'm loving atm is Grum - Heartbeats. Impossible for me to sit still when this is playing:

lixandra 11-17-2009 05:39 PM

Really nice one, Diesel, the one with the gummy bear :P.

Here`s a track that I listen mostly recently:

You probably have heard it live somewhere before but if you're anything like me, you also forget about 90% of the music played during decent sets! This may also have something to do with alcohol consumption :)

I like this song, it's catchy. I can see it getting raped by the mainstream in the not too distant future though. I went out and got the Joe & Will Ask Remix a couple of weeks back though as it is a little deeper.

You're right! I've came home from events thinking, who actually played in that tent last night? It's terrible, I'm going to experiement and go sober to one, should be an interesting outcome.

Getting more into old habits.. Good or bad?

Yeah I LOVE electro. I guess he combines electro with chiptune? Not sure, but I really enjoy it

Kinda, I get a deja vu feeling when I listen to it, maybe I just have similar songs, anyways, that song is awesome.

Singer102 11-22-2009 06:08 AM

Nothing beats MIKA RAIN it is a bit toned down form original dance but has some elements that make it an absolute stonker

wickedlk 11-23-2009 09:51 AM

Here are the songs that kept me company on my road trip recently

Not sure where those Finally lyrics come from because they aren't on my version.

Nice remix

:)

Nice remix

:)

Had to listen to that one twice... very cool :thumb:

Dieselboy 11-26-2009 09:32 PM

Heard this on Annie Mac's radio show about a month back, but I keep going back and listening to it again and again. Absolutely love that synth.

wickedlk 11-28-2009 03:42 AM

^I like this^ I should start listening to Annie Mac a bit more but I've gone off her since she moved to an earlier slot on Radio 1 :(

I'm loving this

Time to drop some electro house

Dieselboy 11-28-2009 04:29 PM

Ugh, that last tune is filthy... Been hearing alot of good electro house lately on these boards between that song and the 2 comps in the electro house thread. I really need to dig deeper into that genre.

About Annie Mac, you can listen to her show whenever you like on radio 1's website. They have the iplayer so you can listen to any show from the previous week whenever you want. I'm actually listening to that atm when I came to these boards (paused it to check out these songs ><) It's pretty cool.

iplayer is a godsend  When she moved, the show became a little too commercial for me. The first, like, half almost seemed to be a little too mainstream for me to enjoy it and kind of went against what I liked before (the don't care, we're gonna play some new stuff that nobody has heard of mentality). As a flip-side though I'm loving Pete Tong at 9 :)

Dieselboy 11-30-2009 05:06 PM

I heard this song on a Freq Nasty's Fabriclive cd a year or so ago, and I keep going back to it. Never fails to make me screw my face up when the synth line starts at 20 seconds and gets louder and louder. The vocals just sound so sincere and yearning as well. This is great for fast fast driving. :D

Here is the same group, No Surrender, doing this song live at a festival. Not nearly as polished sounding, but I still love it to hell. You can tell these guys are really feeling the music they're making. So good.

CanwllCorfe 12-01-2009 05:53 PM

HARDSTYLE!

AMUZAK 12-01-2009 10:57 PM

Dance choon?

Definitely David Guetta ft. Akon- Sexy Bitch (Chuckie & Lil John Remix)

Dieselboy 12-04-2009 08:38 PM

Yeah this is a f*ckin anthem for sure. I love tracks like this where the music has passages that get quiet and then someone starts talking...then the music kicks back in and you get a huge rush. ><
Sorta reminds me of of Gamemaster from that old Oakenfold CD Tranceport. Wicked stuff right here. :)

Edit: Just 1st heard this on Kutski's show about an hour ago btw. :)

Lol, seriously. I think if I had to pick a favorite show outta all the ones I listen to it would be his for sure.

If anyone doesn't know its a 2 hour show where he does like 4-5 mini-mixes that are genre-specific, like "Hardtrance Euro Mix", "UK Hardcore Mix", "Hardstyle Mix", etc. It's all hard and fast stuff though.
Also he has a feature called, "The Hardest Record In the World" where he plays a new gabber song that will usually blow up your speakers.

Showtek was on his show last week and did a sick guest mix.

But yeah...its a great show. Great place to find new electronica. :thumb:

Good grief!...That's just ridiculously uplifiting. SO good. :D

Also, I know I've heard that before somewhere in a movie or something, sounds so familiar. Maybe I just heard the original version on asot trance or something though.

Yeah I thought it sounded familiar too.. weird! Yeah Jorn van Deynhoven is pretty incredible. This one gives me goosebumps

Dieselboy 12-09-2009 04:35 PM

Some housey/disco type stuff from Fake Blood. I'm not a massive house fan, but I'm still really enjoying his music an awful lot atm. :)

Fake Blood - I Think I Like It

Fake Blood - Mars

Incredible song!

Edit: Sorry for posting 2 tuneS when the thread says "tune". Oh well. :|

wickedlk 12-12-2009 02:25 PM

Fake Blood is pretty awesome, especially Mars. That is one bad-ass tune right there!

Anyways, love the original so why wouldn't I love this?

I heard PROFF in the mix the other day. This made me very happy and reminded me of some great times

My love for the piano takes over again....it's also a little bit haunting :)

Great great song. This was on ASoT this week as well. As I said in another thread, this weeks show was one of his best...there was seriously like 4 or 5 songs with piano in them. Haunting is definitely the word to describe that too. :)

Dieselboy 12-14-2009 08:21 PM

Was just listening to this one. Even though the song isn't really new anymore, it really doesn't get much better than Pjanoo. :D

Eric Prydz - Pjanoo (Had never seen this official vid till just now...pretty cool, pretty cool.)

Eric Prydz - Pjanoo (Club Mix)

Just let it get into it.

A classic really.

Wait on it... :D

CanwllCorfe 12-15-2009 11:03 PM

Electro CRAZINESS!

wickedlk 12-16-2009 06:28 AM

God knows how many times I've played Pjanoo. I had it like 6 months before it hit the big time and played it to anyone who gave me half a chance. Definitely a tune I'll think fondly of in 10 years!
