Need help identifying song - from This American Life

Hello,

Can anyone name this artist or song? This has been driving me a bit nuts. They only play a short piece from this song, and there is speaking over the song at most parts. The song plays at 53:00 til about 53:30. It also plays earlier within the episode.

Since I am a new member, I am not allowed to post links. To reach the site, type in "This American Life 423" into the google search. It should be the first link.

Any help would greatly be appreciated!
