Clark

I'm surprised he doesn't have a thread already, so here it is! In my slow and steady dive into electronic music, English IDM artist Chris Clark has recently become a favorite of mine. So far I've only listened to a handful of his six albums, namely Body Riddle and Turning Dragon, which use completely different styles. Turning Dragon leans on the side of visceral, aggressive rhythms, while the other is more melodic, with a plethora of timbres and ambient scenes. Coming from someone with very limited IDM exposure, both are very enjoyable.

"New Year Storm" from Turning Dragon:

"Ted" from Body Riddle:

Hey gunnels. Big Clark fan here, I'm also surprised there's not a pre-existing thread as I could have sworn I created one myself some time back. Killer producer, but I was disappointed with this year's Iradelphic. Maybe I'll play it again now on my new headphones and see.

His EPs are really worth seeking out as well...like Throttle Furniture, Throttle Clarence, and Throttle Promoter.

Hey, fancy seeing you here! :)

And, yeah Gunnels, Clark is great! Humorously enough I remember Sidewinder being the one person on MB that I ever remember talking about him with.

Howdy man! Dropping in once in a while, today I was seriously looking for more distractions from work.
