I can see what their appeal is. I just think there are bands out there who are better and for some reason do not get the recognition. I think Freestylers completely pwn them.

just checked out the freestylers myspace lol... harking back to another era of electro! I'd ****ing pay to see them, but only if they had b-boys
there's a tune on there which sounds just like N Sync circa 'Pop' (don't laugh, it's genius) and I think they ambushed Ice-T at an airport or something and got him to do a shoutout |
Freestylers will never set the world alight but they play damn good dance music with a healthy assimilation of relative genres. Their albums encompass Drum n Bass, Techno, Reggae, Rock, Disco, House and electro and still make you feel warm and fuzzy inside.

I just got the new record and I'm stuck on "Shake A Fist"... insane track.
|
oh man, i was kinda late to this one but I can't get enough of "Ready for the Floor". when it opens up past the intro part its simple but out of this world. My fav track since LCD's "new york I love you"
|
I still do not understand the fascination with Hot Chip.

considering getting tickets, the gig is in November but i'm sure it'll sell out quickly so... |
The "sexual eruption" cover is sooo bad haha.
|
Coming On Strong is a slightly less energetic album than The Warning and Made In The Dark but still cool as cucumbers.
