Default new and old lounge house recommendations?

Hi there,

Just wondering if anyone had any recommendations for kind of lounge house (also outside of this genre but my best description of what I'm looking for is....i like to describe the sound as 'melty summer'. Along the lines of The Avalanches- Since I left you or Groove Armada- at the river? Those sorts of liquidy sounds.
Much appreciated

Cheers

melty summer = Soulchef

He's a beatmaker from New Zealand. Check his Long Hot Summer album on his bandcamp. Well, it's not lounge house, but it's a jazzy instrumental Hip Hop, an equally downtempo, chilled and dreamy sound

Some stuff I'd recommend for a similar feel to the songs you mentioned:

Bent - Always
Bent - Magic Love
Caia - Rememberance
Caia - Telecabine
Mint Royale - See You In The Morning
Mylo - Need You Tonite

Also a lot of the first two albums by Zero 7, they have a bit more traditional song structure to them as opposed to having just vocal samples but you might like them too.

FLUGHAND - Moonloops (full album)
Jinsang - Gratitude (full album)

It's more lofi hip hop, ive been on a lofi kick lately while i draw, but very lounge-esque

Don't they have another... Exercise 5 or something?

I love house
Tunes that may inspire are
5th Order - Sine Weaver
The Timewriter - Limelight?

Not house but I'm really into Submotion Orchestra (The Finest Hour), that is awesome music

Have you tried Morcheeba? 1st or 3rd album
