Default µ-Ziq

So Mike Paradinas, AKA µ-Ziq and owner of electronic music label Planet Mu has decided to take a leaf from Aphex Twin's book and start uploading a veritable ****load of old, unreleased tracks to Soundcloud. As of right now, they're also available for immediate download. Highly recommended for fans of Aphex Twin, Squarepusher, and the ambient techno/IDM/drum & bass aesthetic combination in general.

Great news! Thanks for sharing this; I'd been meaning to explore more of his stuff.

It looks like everything post-1989 is proper µ-Ziq, the stuff from before that is interesting but not his "sound" as it's come to be defined, more just youthful exuberance.

If you haven't already, I'd recommend checking out the official collection Somerset Avenue Tracks 1992-1995. It's a lot of old B-sides and oddities, but Disc 1 especially stands tall with some of the greatest work he ever did on Tango N' Vectif.

I was really disappointed about his last album, thanks for the sharing, his old song will make me forget his new ones.
