Question Similar song(s) ?

So, I have been trying to find good electronic songs of any genre that are similar to this one: Rizna - Distorted Lovesong (Full length) - feat.Rizna
(Can't post links)

Reason: It made a great hit on a - not so popular - rhythm game and I am looking for songs similar to this, since it's community likes them :3

Here is another example of a song that made an equally big hit:
The Pretender - Infected Mushroom

I am showing the song above while I know it is not electronic-ish to show that fast paced songs are preferred.

More advanced stuff to locate the best fitting song:
  • >5 and <7 mins is highly preferred.
  • Song must be 1:30 - 2:30 mins aprox.
  • If it is 3+ mins, make sure I can cut it somewhere in the middle.
  • If the song is 5+ mins is must have a general variety in rhythm (not ctrl+c, ctrl+v)
  • Slow start is best 30-40 seconds is the best, not without beats though (without including possible intros that are not actual part of the song).
  • Much bass is considered mainstream so its a nei.
  • It's cool to be a remix of a song, just make sure it's catchy.
  • Songs including high-pitch voice are generally liked by the community, so it has to be kinda... Well, cute.
  • Songs that include 1/3 beats between 1/2 are a nei.
  • Japanese songs or remixes of them (better remixes) are a yay.
  • No death metal and other heavy stuff including screaming.
  • Short and catchy audio samples are the best, it's hard to work with long-lasting wubs/basses and claps (yeah these exist O.o).
  • If it is dubstep, having the drops is closer to one another is best

And here is another list of songs that made a great impact in said game:
  • Knife party - Bonfire (<-- Great example)
  • Nero vs After School - Sound In Motion vs AH (Fauxami Mashup)
  • Knife pary - Give it up
  • UPLIFT SPICE - Omega Rythm
  • HTT - NO, Thank You!
  • Yousei Teikoku - Kokou no Sousei
  • S3RL - Pika Girl
  • Yoko Hikasa - Don't Say "Lazy"
  • Linked Horizon - Guren no Yumiya
  • Masayoshi Minoshima feat. nomico - Bad Apple

Most of them are Japanese dubed, don't mind that though, just listen to the rhythm and pace.

Q: Which game is he talking about?
A: Osu! (Exclamation point is part of the name...)

No Skrillex! He does not like when his songs are featured on the game :S

Have you tried to take that knowledge and make soundtrack it would probably sound awesome. Young musician from the japan just get the touch of music really right. Gangnam style is an example!

I know nothing of making music.

Also, Gagnam style is too slow-paced and weird on the way it sounds. Not to mention it's pretty mainstream. It's a fact that Japanese people (who are the majority of the community at a rate of 30%) dislike Korean songs for some reason.

Furthermore, Gagnam style uses long-lasting audio samples, which do not fit the criteria I stated.

Similar to Knife Party's "Bonfire" IMO. Not sure if it fits your production criteria:

Zomboy - Nuclear (Hands Up)

Anywhere close?

More than close, this is perfect.

In fact, I knew that song was going to be mentioned since I did not put on the list of songs above (mainly because there is no version of it currently in the game). However I was looking for alternatives, maybe something-something more DnBish and less Dubstepish ?

Snappy and catchy sound samples will work better over the long vibe samples of the suggested track.

B-Complex - Beautiful Lies VIP

Drum & Bass with a slow build, but it gets going after that. Still in the same ballpark?

Yup, same stuff.

Still a good track, but this one has some problems.
The rhythm is... Well, the same across almost the whole song.
The beat is weird to work with too.

High pitch female vocals work the best in my case.

The variation for that last track is more in the vocals. I'm not a producer or DJ, so I can't do too much with that angle. I like high-pitched vocals as well, although it sounds to me that the type of pitch effect you're looking for is more like nightcore music where everything is sped up?

Nightcore - Meg & Dia - Monster (DotEXE Remix)

Something more regular a ton of variation, at least as I hear it:

Omnia & IRA - The Fusion

[Trance]

I have other songs that to me have variation, but because they have an underlying repetitive beat, I don't think they'll be up your alley.

DotEXe's remix of monster is also a great hit on said game, so its basiclly taken. It is however a great example of what I am going for.

The problem with the fusion is its genre. Even though the song itself has potential, I see no successful "beatmaps" of trance songs.

(A beatmap is what someone creates with a song in this game)

Hit me up with anything good that might come in mind.

Again, high-pitch (childlike) vocals are prefarred.
I am talking about the same pitch that one fins in nightcore songs. Nightcore is also considered mainstream too tho ;/
