Progressive House

Easily my favorite genre. I pretty much loved it from the first time I heard it. There's so many facets, but I tend to prefer stuff like Mango and Dinka as opposed to artists like Robbie Rivera and Hardwell. But I don't judge. Whatever you like, you like. Some stuff is more Housey, some stuff is more Trancey. I tend to like damn near everything that's Trancey, but I'm open to anything. I know there's gotta be fans on here. And it's almost Summer! This stuff SCREAMS Summer.

I always have love for this genre as well. Some of the most brilliant productions I've heard come out of this genre.

If you had to recommend some things to someone with little to no knowledge of progressive house, what would you give them? To give you an idea what I like, I really loved the Bent and Luigi Lusini tracks, Motorcitysoul was good but a bit repetitive and Jaytech was a bit heavy and didn't have enough sounds in the high end range going on. I have a suspicion I like things with a lot more trance influence, but I really couldn't say.

Yeah man I hear yah with being bent over this genre(or not knowing exactly what you like/want out of it) progressive house gets mixed in with trance tracks quite a bit since their genres are very similar. many different styles belong to the "progressive" electronic genre; Minimal Prog house to electro prog house and everything in between you just have to spend some time to figure out what you're looking for.

It's all pretty damn good though!

Yes, those are definitely the more Trance driven ones. The Motorcitysoul track is Progressive Tech House. Tech is short for Techno, and Techno is usually quite repetitive. So I'm pretty sure that's what you're picking up on. For me, it changes just enough throughout the song to be perfect. I'll send you a .RAR that covers all kinds.
