Demon Days had more filler then self-titled, but both were great.
This opera is going to be insane.

Agreed. It had a bit of everything, really. I think it was the culmination of what Damon Albarn had been working toward since the project began, and I think it straddled the line between the territores of overwhelming commercial success and unique artistic experimentation. Furthermore, the album had much to offer listeners in almost all genre-specific camps, and the production value was second to none.

Whens the last time you listened to "all alone" on repeat!?!??!

I remember I used to be right into Gorillaz. Now I don't hold much interest in them except a few songs I've kept, unwillingly.

Hahah Korn...they're from my hometown....it's weird to hear people talk about them, because I knew all of them growing up.
Isn't that the truth, though? I have the same weakness for pop groups I grew up listening to, and though they almost never make the cut when I'm putting together mix-tapes, I can't force myself to strike them from my library. I think it's because everybody tends to experience music in a sort of autobiographical way, so in getting rid of music you loved as a kid, you're almost getting rid of a part of your childhood.

that is the perfect way to put it. i think i can tell you the exact circumstances of any point in my life based on an album i was listening to at the time. it is hard to get rid of.
