Any Dae Antwoord (SA) fans here? I never really heard of them until my husband got me into their music (and of course their acting in Chappie!). It is almost like they take themselves very seriously but have a great time doing it.

I thought it was "die" not "dae". Anyway, yeah, I like them a lot, especially the second album. "I Fink You Freaky" is a great song. I don't see them as taking themselves seriously at all though.

You are right. It is "Die" not "Dae". Doesn't help much when "Die" comes up directly on the screen :D But it is a pretty interesting parody act. Quite catchy.

Saw this video floating around Facebook recently. Great story.

There probably is. I just counldn't figure out what category of music to even start this thread in at first. They kind of bounce around between genres.

Started up as a meme, but actually they've got some interesting music ideas.

The Ziggurat is an incredible album but I'm not really a fan of what they did under the name Die Antwoord. they're a great live act though. pretty surreal that they starred in Chappie too. They very entertaining figures to follow that's for sure.
