Roland synthesizer contest tapes

Hi all - I just joined today.

In the late 70s & 80s, Roland held annual synthesizer contests and released cassette tapes of the winners' songs. I have been looking to see if anyone has any of these tapes for sale. I've searched online but have not found much. Does anyone here know of a place that might have some of them? I have the 6th, 7th, and 8th already. My copy ofnthe 8th is a little worn and missing the cover so I wouldn't mind finding another 8th as well. I have a search alert on eBay that will notify me if someone puts one up there for sale.

Hah... man, like, your post probably isn't really sanctioned for the subforum even.. but uh... I hope the mods leave it up because finding something like that would be the absolute sh*t.

You might check Name That Tune just in case. Honestly though you'll probably have way more traction on Reddit with something like this. Musicbanter is basically just a site of young kids jerking each other off about music taste. Not that I mind, I like handjobs, they're my favorite. Anyway, look toward Reddit.

My apologies for posting something that may be perhaps inappropriate for the forum. I probably should have done some lurking before posting. I'm not sure if there's a thread on forum rules here (I didn't see one when I briefly checked though). I've created an account on Reddit to check there.

If illegal activities is the concern, I was actually looking to buy the cassettes legitimately from someone who may have them for sale, I was not looking to pirate music. Nor was I seeking to promote any particular band or music, I was just looking for a place (or someone) who may have this music for sale.
