Default Industrial: essential albums & recommendations

Hi. I like some industrial music but I would like to delve deeper into the genre. What are some quality/essential albums that I should check out?

Thanks in advance.

it's a pretty large genre with tons of little side genres.....

but in my opinion the 10 essential albums by far would be

Coil - Horse Rotovator
Skinny Puppy - Bites/Remission
SPK - Leichenschrei
Throbbing Gristle - Entertainment Through Pain
Einstürzende Neubauten - 1/2 Mensch
Front 242 - Front By Front
Laibach - Nova akropola
Dernière Volonté - Devant le miroir
Ministry - The Land Of rape and Honey
Nitzer Ebb - That Total Age

The Damage Manual - S.T
Murder Inc. - Locate Subvert Terminate
Godflesh - Streetcleaner

Not heard of Dernière Volonté. Will be checking them out.

I would say pretty much everything Throbbing Gristle did, actually... especially their vast array of live recorded material.

Is there anything by Boyd Rice that would be in this thread? Sure, he may not be the most popular man in the world (I think by choice), but he did do a lot of innovating. Apparently, he was one of the first to use samples and loops (or so what I've read), but is any of it really essential for listening? I only have a few NON albums, they are pretty damn good, but I'm not sure about essential.

This is such a weird ass creepy record. An absolutely unassailable classic.

I've been listening to it a lot lately weirdly enough. I still think that 2nd Annual Report is my favey though.

My favourite wing of industrial music is death industrial and Ramleh's the peak of that, ergo that **** essential
