Any OPN fans on the board? I think he's been making some of the most interesting electronic music in some years. It's like a combination of lush 80's esque synths, crossed with noise, and popol vuh like vocal sample work.

Ja, Oneohtrix Point Never is probably my favourite electronica artist. Replica is ****ing brilliant.

ive always thought I should like OPN more than I do; I like most of his work but don't love any of it.

That being said, I saw him live over the summer in an old church and it was one of the best performances ive seen. Quite meditative, really.

I really hate this guy's name.

Other than that, his latest is pretty ok background music.

Really digging the new one except for the Corey Feldman-esque way he processes the vocals on some tracks. He took the ideas that were a bit too scattered on Age Of and refined them into some tracks with more meat on them.
