I need music advice
 

Ok so Im good at the high-energy indie rock parts. and Im pretty good at funk/art rock parts. but i want to bring in some ambient influence. ive tried and i suck at krautrock and electronic prog like Neu!,Kraftwerk and Can. What are some good ambient artists and what are their best albums?
My biggest influences are:

Sigur Ros'
Guns 'N Roses
Drive Like Jehu
Autechre (recently...)
Modest Mouse
Refused
and a little Ink and Dagger.

yeah the godspeed and sigur ros albums are great

You need to seriously get the David Holmes album Bow Down To The Exit Sign.

No explanation needed , just get it & thank me afterwards

well best ambient...Royksopp anything you can find by them....their probably the best one i know

Good album, really remind me of Autechre.

Fripp and Eno- Equatorial Stars

David Holmes is really good. Even the stuff he did for the Ocean's 11/12 movies were pretty good.

My recommendation- Brian Eno.
