Conan: Pulp Fiction is great, and the abrupt costume change for Travolta and Jackson is hilarious once it begins and once it's explained. I don't know which point in the film the still is from, but I still love it. I guess I'll have to watch it again to find out, but that's no problem for me. 10/10

Janzsoon: I like it, but I much prefer your former avatar of a Steven Belleux painting. Still, it's a pretty nice gif. 8/10

I don't really know what the object in the background is, 6/10.

It's this.

FETCHER. 06-17-2012 04:05 PM

Just a bicycle wheel on a stool? I thought it was some sort of contraption.

GuitarBizarre 06-17-2012 06:25 PM

Its Marcel DuChamps exhibiting one of his "readymades". He intended to challenge the idea of what art is, by stating that art is anything that the artist can convince other people is art. Its a foundation of postmodern artistic criticism.

Your av...pretty lady. 7/10!

Thanks! :D

And GB: Not bad, but it looks a bit like Japanese Anime, which I'm not a big fan of for whatever reason. 6/10

Exo 06-17-2012 06:55 PM

Your new one is fantastically dark.

10/10

Frownland 06-17-2012 10:19 PM

I am quite a fan of David Lynch. Extra points for the noir-esque feel to it.

10/10

The Batlord 06-18-2012 09:01 AM

You again! Arg! 8/10 you bastard!

GuitarBizarre 06-18-2012 12:04 PM

**** yeah power girl

The Batlord 06-19-2012 08:32 AM

6/10 Cool character (in an ultra cheesy anime way), but only a half way decent pic.

Cartoon hotness. Yes sir.

10/10..thats fantastic lol.

The Batlord 06-21-2012 08:41 AM

2/10 I suggest you get a better avatar. Or I'll find you.

90'sMusicKid 06-21-2012 07:43 PM

5/10..not a hug power girl fan..

And your demands simply aren't going to be met. I dont see your problem with such a great band.

Howard the Duck 06-21-2012 08:09 PM

5/10 - a bit too garish for me

is that an album cover?

90'sMusicKid 06-21-2012 08:14 PM

10/10 like I said =P

And no..its just a band tshirt for the Brian Jonestown Massacre that I bought a while ago.

The Batlord 06-23-2012 11:24 AM

7/10

Much better. Looks pretty cool as a bigger pic, but it doesn't quite grab me.

Howard the Duck 06-23-2012 02:06 PM

10/10 - yay, She-Hulk

i think i have that issue as well

90'sMusicKid 06-23-2012 03:15 PM

Forward To Death 06-23-2012 03:32 PM

Ahh dude that's sick. 10/10

CanwllCorfe 06-23-2012 03:35 PM

8/10. Would bang.

Frownland 06-23-2012 07:34 PM

I like how dark yours is and the somewhat minimal aspects of it. 10/10

I'll bet that the Batlord will post after me if tradition holds.

Blarobbarg 06-24-2012 08:18 AM

9/10

I might not know art, but I know what I like, and I like that. And it's art.

Also, I think I'm going to change avatars. This just doesn't look as good as I thought it was, and it's not one flat color, which I also thought it was. Oh well.

Howard the Duck 06-24-2012 08:40 AM

2/10

it's sorta one-note, pardon the pun

Burning Down 06-24-2012 09:24 AM

5/10. I liked the one you had before better.

One of the better simpsons avatars you've ever had. 8/10

Howard the Duck 06-24-2012 09:32 AM

Homer wouldn't have made a good Godfather

Doggfather maybe

4/10

edit - this is for Burning Down

The Batlord 06-25-2012 09:15 AM

5/10 You know why, I've already said it like twice. So, I'm gonna comment on Burning Down's avatar, since I don't think I've ever had the chance.

9/10 Sweet. Your Homer Simpson avatars are some of the most recognizable on this site.

Blarobbarg 06-25-2012 10:35 AM

6/10

Props for using She-Hulk, but not my favorite cover.

CanwllCorfe 06-27-2012 09:52 PM

Pretty neat, very summery. 8/10

Paedantic Basterd 06-27-2012 10:09 PM

9/10

You never go wrong. Whose art is this? I'd love to know.

CanwllCorfe 06-27-2012 10:20 PM

Thanks! :D I love yours as well, and it's by Hengki Koentjoro.

Paedantic Basterd 06-27-2012 10:25 PM

Ah a quick poke around says that's an incredible gallery. Thank you! Always on the look out for this kind of thing.

CanwllCorfe 06-27-2012 10:27 PM

Yeah I love dramatic black and white shots. Love them. You may also wanna check out Alexey Titarenko, if you haven't already.

Paedantic Basterd 06-27-2012 10:31 PM

Brilliant. Bookmarked for future reference. Photography is one of my favourite mediums.

CanwllCorfe 06-27-2012 11:15 PM

Mine as well! Now that I have a DSLR, I've been out experimentating and whatnot. I do wish I lived in an area with more... interesting things. I think it's just that I've lived here so long that it's hard looking at it in a "different" way. I always feel that urge to take pictures is rekindled when I go somewhere new, or at least go somewhere more photogenic (Jim Thorpe, Delaware Water Gap, Lancaster, etc.). My area is a bit rural, but too built up to feel distanced from society. It has a bit of that small town America vibe, but it isn't built up enough to feel really cohesive or together like an actual community. In time I'll figure something out.

Blarobbarg 06-27-2012 11:17 PM

10/10

At this very moment, I think it is awesome!
