2. Adobe CS2 for free? Man, I might get in on that if it runs in Windows 10. I'm currently stuck using Gimp (which is a fine program, but still).

OK let me ask you this question: you're in Vietnam, you decide to write something on your helmet and suddenly you're under fire by the Viet Cong, how neat is your printing going to be?

It works on both of the PC's I run it on using Windows 10. There's a registration nag each time you run it, but that's a small deterrence.

You are also writing on some kind of camouflage clothe material, no way as smooth as parchment paper. Still not convince you can pull off neater printing on a clothe covered helmet.
