so is it an anchor on your forearm??

jibber 03-22-2006 11:44 PM

no, and no. don't have it yet, because i'm still designing it (hey, a year of art school actually has paid off for once). It'll be pretty small, only about 2.5 inches square, and on my hip where it'll be easy as hell to hide. It's tough to explain. It's gonna be a simplified design of the two golden fishes, a buddhist symbol that can have the meaning of freedom, happiness and fearlessness. but like i said, once i'm finished the design of it i'll post up a picture, and then a pic of the actual tattoo when i finally do get it.

I have one, it's the OM symbol, on my lower back. Unfortunately that was before the "tramp-stamp" became so f*cking popular... Anyone heard of tapping? It's a tatooing method of basically dipping a serrated metal "pick" into ink and then literally tapping it into the skin with a small mallot. I think it's Hawaiian or something. Sounds painful, but I'd like to try it. Tatoos are for people who slightly enjoy pain :)

yeah they do that in a lot of different cultures, hawaii being one of them. It's also done in Thailand and other south asian countries too.

Ya, i was wondering if I'd be able to find somewhere locally where I could get something small done. It just wouldn't be the same thing though.

MURDER JUNKIE 03-23-2006 01:16 AM

Mike Austin may do it, I wouldn't trust it to anyone else in town

rudgrljungalist 03-23-2006 01:22 AM

I'd have to wonder where they'd acquire the tools... that's some pretty tribal ****, y'know?

MURDER JUNKIE 03-23-2006 01:24 AM
