I once bought this Toshiba Satellite Pro 4200 Celeron 550 laptop at a boot sale for one dollar or something like that.
A friend of mine borrowed it since his (rather new) laptop died.
I got it back a couple of weeks ago and I just installed it with Windows TinyXP.
Not fast, but it's stable and usable.
Always handy when I have friends over who like to check their forum, mail, facebook, whatever. A spare-spare laptop for guests.

I never understood what the whole stigma about Safari is. It hasn't failed me yet, or at least I don't think it has. Unless the evil mac people are spying on my computer or something.

It's just not very customizable. I use safari occasionally, but I mostly use Firefox and Chrome.

Oh, ok I see. I guess Mac will just have to lose this battle. To paraphrase the great Steve Jobs, the battle has been lost but not the war.
