I used to have a DVD collection of some sort with them, but I can't remember what they were called. The Danger Ladies or uhh... something? Gunsmith Cats? No, that's another duo... The anime part of my brain is going senile.

I watched a lot of silly anime like that back in the day. Project A-ko, Gunsmith Cats, Burn-Up, Cutey Honey, Those Who Hunt Elves, etc. Not sure I'd like any of it today. |
Silly anime is timeless.

The only thing from that I've watched is Project A-Ko. Glorious lesbian silliness.

Those Who Hunt Elves is about a band of heroes roaming around a strange land, stripping any Elven woman they encounter of her clothes in order to find a mysterious birth mark.
It's a strangely harmless show for how dirty that sounds. One of the heroes is a tank possessed by a the spirit of a cat. Definitely one of the dumbest premises I've encountered in an anime. |

Batlord, you'd love the original Cutie Honey from the early 70s, made by the guy that made Devilman, Go Nagai. It's basically Sailor Moon, except way more raunchy, and Cutie Honey ain't afraid to slice a motherfucker in half.
And dj, if you like Dominion Tank Police, Gunsmith Cats is in a similar vein. It was made by the person who made Riding Bean, if I remember correctly. |
