Default Do You Look Your Age?

Just a passing thought really, I'm often looked on as a 18 year-old but am nearly 26. Today I got on the bus as a child which would mean I would be considered at high school (I certainly act like it sometimes ha ha).

Do you pass for any other age? Do people consider you younger or older than what you are?

Please do not get overwhelmed by the intellectual brilliance of this thread.

No one confuses me for a teen but most are surprised when I tell them I'm 55. I have pretty good complexion, I guess

Up until roughly two years ago, I'd say I looked maybe slightly under my age, but I had longer hair then and was clean shaven.

I noticed I was losing my hair about 18 months ago, so just shaved it off and grew stubble and I definitely look older than I am now I think.

That's great Paul, are you a smoker? Because I wonder whether smoking and UV rays affect people skin and making them appear older than they are.

Guys who are clean shaven that I know of tend to look younger than when they are bearded or have facial hair. I love it either way.

I've been a non-smoker since 1994. I've been sober since 1995.

As for UV rays, well, look at my location

The PNW is famously wet and grey, like England

People tend to think I'm a little older than I actually am. It's always been this way and I'm wondering if this will work against me in the future, haha.

This reminds me of a sort of "experiment" my boyfriend carried out a couple of weeks ago. He was curious as to how old people would think he was when clean shaven versus after he hadn't shaved in a few days. He's 24, usually shaves every 2nd or 3rd day, and people always think he is younger. But then he didn't shave for like 5 or 6 days and people thought he was older, he also said that he got hit on a whole lot more (I can see why lol).

People usually place me at 20-21. When i am bearded they tend to put me at 25 - 27. I got asked for id in birr, offaly last week. It was weird.

I think I look my age. When I was younger, though, I looked a little older than my real age so I was generally the designated cigarette buyer for my friends.
