Riddle A: 3 points
A bus driver was heading down a street in Colorado. He went right past a stop sign without stopping, he turned left where there was a "no left turn" sign, and he went the wrong way on a one-way street. Then he went on the left side of the road past a cop car. Still - he didn't break any traffic laws. Why not?

Riddle B: 5 points
I can be cracked, I can be made.
I can be told, I can be played.
What am I?

Riddle C: 7 points
A plane crashed and every single person on board this flight were killed, yet, there were survivors. Explain how?

Riddle D: 3 points
If you're 8 feet away from a door and with each move you advance half the distance to the door. How many moves will it take to reach the door.

Riddle E: 10 points
As a whole, I am both safe and secure.
Behead me, and I become a place of meeting.
Behead me again, and I am the partner of ready.
Restore me, and I become the domain of beasts.
What am I?

Riddle A – He was walking. Or possibly skateboarding/running/being given a piggyback.

Riddle B – A Joke

Riddle C – I don’t really understand it. Is it because the plane crashed into something else and people in that something else survived? Or is it because there were animals on the plane, who count as ‘survivors’ but not as ‘persons’? Or did all the ‘single people’ die but some of the married people, or those with significant others, survived?

Riddle D – If you are defined as a single point, with no aspect of length in the distance towards the door, then you will never reach the door, although you will get closer and closer with every move. If ‘you’ is an actual person then it depends on how longs your arms are (therefore two or three moves because that would bring you to two feet and one foot away respectively and then you can prod it with your arm stretched out), as I assume that to 'reach' you mean 'touch', after all we reach with our arms.

Riddle E - Stable

Bravo 5 for 5 or at least 4 and 1/2

Number three is as you said, The "single" people died, but some of the married folks survived.

Had you heard them before or just good at this?

Well, I think Riddle D is a famous paradox, although not famous enough that I can remember the name of it (the part where I'd written about the single point, that is, not the bit about the arms), so I already knew what you were going on about and shouldn't have given an answer to the riddle!

The others I worked out. I am generally good at these things although this skill is yet to prove useful in real-life situations :(
