loveissucide 11-24-2009 06:27 AM

Jebstab 11-24-2009 06:28 AM

But Elton John isnt dead.

Im sorry, did i miss something here?

Jebstab 11-24-2009 06:32 AM

haha! as if. I didn't even know that. Who's the next famous celeb to die then?considering some twonk claims to predicted the death of Jacko life on air.

Elton John played the piano part to 'The Way It is' by bruce hornsby, even though Tupac was dead. he somehow managed to rap over it.

Mojo 11-24-2009 06:35 AM

Tupac died at least 10 years after that song was released, surely?

Im sorry, but this has to be a joke that i'm not getting?

Jebstab 11-24-2009 06:37 AM

'Ghetto Gospel' was released in 2005 thats the name of the tune, have a listen to it. Tupac died Sept 13. 1996

Mojo 11-24-2009 06:39 AM

Tupac sampled The Way It Is in Changes which was released in the 90's, not 2005, and is the song you were banging on about even if there was a mention of Elton John that i don't get.

Anyway, ill be interested to see your posts after your 15th one. I can't quite decide what the hell you are but i'm bored now.

What a collaboration!

Elvis' blusey polished vocals, Kurt's grungey scream and great lyrics, Jacko's dancing and Tupac's rapping. What a combo!

Jebstab 11-24-2009 06:44 AM

Yes, but nobody hear is interested in seeing you post 10 times in 20 minutes in a forum about whether MJ and Elvis Presley are dead. That's cool that you look to talk about unsigned artists, but how about actually talk about some real music? And think more about what you're posting instead of writing a one or two line posts every 2 minutes.

I dont have a "critiques eye" it's just that this thread, and so far the content within, doesnt make any sense.

Jebstab 11-24-2009 06:51 AM

ok ok i apologise. I will think in detail about my next post after this. I hope you have some music that I can check out of yours?

Mojo 11-24-2009 06:54 AM

Of mine? I'm not a musician if thats what you mean. If you just mean music i enjoy then you'll pick up on a lot of it in time.

And if you're talking to me, I don't have any music posted. If you look around at threads you'll learn about people's tastes over time. Here's a good one if you're actually looking for new music:

Albums You're Digging II

Or, look at the forum for whatever genre you enjoy and you'll probably find something good.

My thoughts: the title to this thread should be "Are Elvis Presley and Michael Jackson really dead!"

I was gonna say that as well!

That was the first thing that came to mind - "What terrible grammar."

Janszoon 11-24-2009 08:37 AM

I like the title. It's like a red flag warning everyone what's store for them if they click on the thread.

sidewinder 11-24-2009 08:51 AM

No, they is not dead. They are dead.

Can't celebs die?

Sodacake 11-24-2009 09:45 AM

Nope, clearly they can't just "die" because then where we wouldn't get stupid people making stupid threads like this one.

Urban Hat€monger ? 11-24-2009 12:26 PM

Michael Jackson is dead?

I must have missed that, I don't remember hearing about it.

I think your comments are better directed at the OP. I was only poking fun at his grammar.

FETCHER. 11-24-2009 01:28 PM

I was laughing at your comment, then I said that 'cause he basically asked if they were really dead. :)

NumberNineDream 11-24-2009 07:08 PM

I know Judas is not a musician, but I heard recently that he didn't actually hang himself on an oak tree, and he may still be alive. any thoughts?

Neapolitan 11-25-2009 10:47 PM

Is Keith Richards and Paul McCartney really alive!

I keep hearing some crazy conspiricies about Paul McCartney

thoughts anyone?

NumberNineDream 11-26-2009 03:48 AM

Keith Richards and Paul McCartney is dead.

Yon Troper 11-26-2009 06:32 AM

Hey guys, I keep hearing about a collaboration between Ian Curtis and Jim Morrison coming out next year!

... no, actually, I don't believe in any of these theories, but they're good fun. And admit it, you would listen to that album.

Zer0 11-26-2009 07:45 AM

I wonder will people still think Elvis is alive in another 30 years time. Hmmmm

Janszoon 11-27-2009 11:43 AM

Are Tom Petty really in a coma with an impostor in his place?

storymilo 11-28-2009 10:20 PM

So guys... I don't think the question was ever really answered.

IS THEY DEAD???

Yon Troper 11-28-2009 10:28 PM

Oh, no, Elvis is alive. I met him after he won a karaoke competition in Blackburn once. Nice guy.

ClayMike 12-07-2009 07:47 AM

They may be dead physically but not musically
