Yeah, which is why I tend to hate my old pictures. My ex was right!

only until you hit your 30s then you look like 'that' guy who still wears band shirts like they actually matter. unless you're going for the college professor ponytail angle, in which case you just need to invest in a nice old school pipe.

I really don't have any comments on these photos, except that none of them are bad on purpose

 Yes.

When I say lads with long hair generally look cooler, I mean hair going over your ears.. surely people in their 30s can still carry that look? Hmm, maybe not.

I know heaps of men over 30 who have long hair and it looks great! Not necessarily really long either.

Thing is, hair over the ears is something some of us had when we were kids...so having it now we fear it would make us look too old or old-fashioned maybe, like we never grew up or like we're older than we want to look. Or that we're trying to be hip but we're actually too old for it. Something like that! :p: Hair over the ears (without it actually being long hair) has definitely made a comeback though and I like the way it looks...I just can't really go there for some reason.

hahahaha exactly! everything old is new again. the only reason Justin Beiber is getting away with it now is because no one had hair like this when he was a kid, but there are plenty of us who didn't have a choice in the late 70s and early 80s.

i am NOT going back to that hahaha.

I defy any of you lot to be pictured in a shirt as disgusting as this.

The Alternative Tentacles t-shirt under it counts for something thought? ... right? :(

Why, the yellow in the Alternative Tentacles t-shirt picks up the yellow in the red-yellow-blue-green etc. etc. etc. (good GOD, how many colors does it have!?!) shirt beautifully!

It's a lovely combination and *quite* a fashion statement, Urban! Plaid ROCKS!

Urban Hat€monger ? 04-28-2010 05:18 PM

Piss off

I have questions.

1. I'm assuming that's not alcohol?

and

2. Pork pies lately?

Well, I suppose an advantage of a shirt combination like that is everyone will look at it and say, "Please! Take your shirts off!"

Then you have a drink and nudity and...the night's just begun! ;)

Actually, I've always liked plaid. I even had a plaid phase, when I bought men's plaid shirts from Goodwill and wore them, with the sleeves rolled up, over turtlenecks. That was my wild college lumberjack look. Your plaid isn't sooooooooooooooo bad.

(BARF BAG! BARF BAG, FAAAAAAAAASTTTT!!!)

Urban Hat€monger ? 04-28-2010 05:32 PM

Even I was throwing up & I didn't even have to look at it.

I HAD a shirt worse than that...luckily I think I escaped ever being photographed in it. And it's not because it was plaid, I have no problem with plaid really, but it was a terrible texture and bad combination of colors. It was a gift!

Mojo 04-29-2010 04:10 AM

I've owned a shirt similar to that to. When i was in my early teens maybe.

TheCunningStunt 04-29-2010 05:21 AM

Aren't shirts like that back in fashion?

Ben Sherman Contraband Shirt - Check Shirts - Mens Shirts & Ties - TOPMAN

At least, they have them on topman. Then again, Topman is a shit store.

Mojo 04-29-2010 05:24 AM

^ Truth. Topman is awful.

TheCunningStunt 04-29-2010 05:26 AM

Chavs have started shopping there now, they wear them cheap tops with the different coloured trim around the sleeves and collar. Truly abomination of a store.

James 04-29-2010 10:17 AM

I like Topman *cries*

That looks much much different from the shirt Urban Hatemonger was wearing. Not all plaid is created equal.

VEGANGELICA 04-29-2010 12:06 PM

Looking through old photos of myself stored on the computer, I found two from 2005 that make a fun pair, I think.

The first one isn't too bad at all, I'd say. If I could take it over, I'd probably have washed my hair beforehand. Since I never intended for my glasses to be stylish, I can live with them. The bigger the better! All in all, I'd say I look like a pretty normal person...
