They think it makes them "unique", but it really makes them look like a fool for pretending to be something that they're not for the sake of attention.

that's exactly what happens and it ends up happening in bars too.

They are more just doing it for show than really being bi-sexual.

Sorry, I didn't get the chance to reply! I was getting more into the territory that a lot of people claim to be bisexual now, as they think it makes them seem more open-minded and fair. While I can understand that argument, I don't agree with it. If you aren't particularly attracted to a certain skin or hair colour, then you obviously won't be physically attracted to a person with it. In the same way, I'm not physically attracted to other men, so I'm straight. Again, sorry that I took forever to reply. And if you're generally bi, that's great for you, and I wish you luck. I'm certainly not saying everyone pretends to be just for the cred.

everyone thinks that being Bisexual is like wearing accessory, nice to have so you can flash it to the public but takes it off when you get back home.

It depends on a lot of things. If I went to school today (well, I'm out of school now, but you get what I'm saying) and said to the nearest person "Hi, I'm bisexual!" I would probably get laughed at, bullied and hurt by the end of the day. If a girl did it, either nobody would care or she'd suddenly become more interesting (likely depending on how attractive she is). It links to what people were on about a few pages back about how gay women are often looked on better than gay men. Of course, outside of those idiots at schools you'd hope that people wouldn't care if you're gay or not, and fortunately people are becoming more and more tolerant all the time.

The Virgin 06-01-2011 08:40 AM

this brings me back to a time when my boardmate told me that being gay and homosexual is wrong and is against God's rules but he has tons of girl-to-girl sex scandals in his flash drive. I was like, isn't girl-to-girl sex still homosexuality? and he said, "not if you're doing it to please men which is still considered heterosexuality"...
from that day on I was like, if all people (straight men) think like this, then we really do have a problem.
