I still have a Mac Powerbook (man those things overheated so much), and a blue iBook clam-shell laptop. I also have one of these bad boys in my basement, although without the parrot:

Floppy drive and all!

I have like... 15 of those old laptops in my basement.
I just run into them, they cost a dollar and I can't just leave them lying wherever they are.

And it still works! I'm using it right now. I think it's running IE 5... there's no tabs. Or was IE 6 the last version without tabs? Can't remember.

IE6 was the last without tabs.
You may want to install K-meleon onto it. That's a lightweight browser for laptops like that. When you're running Windows '98 on it you will be using IE5 I guess .

It's actually running Windows 95, with IE 5 on it. K-meleon looks okay too, I'll try it out.

You'll like it. And depending on what computer it is (what is it?) it may run windows 2000.
As long as it's a pentium you can always install Win '98 on it. Which is really a big improvement.

I think I've given up on my loyalty to Apple. They were once a great company and i swore that I'd never own a PC, but between, the iPhone, the iPad, and Steze Jobs & Co. just getting to night for their britches, i think the company has gone to hell in a handbasket.

Probably because apples are tasty and they're great with caramel sauce.
