Definitely not the work of a troll. I hate to stereotype, but this sounds almost exactly like a playlist of your typical sort of airheaded musclehead type guy.

I loved how the first song on a list of songs you might not know is Welcome to the ****ing Jungle.

Don't agree with Rush being in there, but that's a pretty good list.

Nice Big Lebowski reference in the opener: "What makes a terrible band? Is it being prepared to do the wrong thing, whatever the price? That and a pair of testicles."

But wow, what a ****e list. 4 Non Blondes ... okay, maybe. Pretty Ricky .. yeah, he sucks <not a band, either>, Pussycat Dolls, fine, Black Eyed Peas sure I guess... but what the hell, none of the other bands really deserve to be on that list. Even Spin Doctors don't qualify as a worst band of all time. And about the RHCP - 'funk metal is a bad idea'. Oh ****ing really? Eat my dick, article writer.

While I'm a fan of The Dude, I respectfully disagree with his feelings on the Eagles. Plus, he was having a ****ty night when he said that.

I took it as a list of overrated bands/groups to be honest. It's obviously not the actual worst though.

It does annoy me how often people confuse those, and I hope this was just another example of it.

Glad to see Foreigner and the Eagles making the list. They are my weapon against people who bestow the greatest music decade of all time upon the 70's.

Most of the others are hit or miss. I'm not crazy on Rush or RHCP, but they aren't even close to the worst bands of all time (they're at least in the top 50% of good bands out there). This article was obviously meant to drum up controversy more than literally be taken as the 20 worst bands.

Also, why does everyone hate on Eddie Vedder's growls and non-lyric lyrics? Those are some of my favorite parts of their songs. Sometimes a growl says more than a lyric ever could.

i pretty much agree, actually, i hate Pearl Jam, Hootie, Spin Doctors

but disagree about the Eagles, RHCP, Rush, Fleet Foxes and Animal Collective

Leave the Eagles alone! They are a great band.
