Interesting thread... I'm listening to the telephone pranking master. Yes. Believe it or not, there's a man here who's got famous for his pranking people on the telephone. Some of his conversations just crack me up.
Then, I can't help but hear the cars on the highway, which is very near my flat. I thought it would be impossible to get used to sleeping with it. Nothing of the sort: I miss it when I kip down on the sofa at my mother's place.

Listening to serial songs.

A light aircraft and someone using a jetwash, presumably to wash the mortar out of their patio.

1) The furnace. In a way, the "wind" is very relaxing.

2) Movie commentaries - I'm the type of fan that actually wants to know the stories behind the films. Helps if the DVD collection is filled with movies from a long time back, especially B movies.

3) The outside.

Sports talk radio. Mostly football stuff but the occasional basketball segment.

Noise. Terribly noise.
