Im glad to hear you're offended. Thats good.

Also, I eat various things everyday for breakfast. Not just one kind of food in particular everyday. Pretty much everything listed in the poll is what I eat variously everyday.

Do you eat a lot of fake meats? I pretty much gave them all up. I think I was eating way too much soy and wheat-based stuff so I just stopped. I also go for almond milk. It seems healthier than cow milk (and tastes as good, costs as much or less) and I quit soymilk for the reason above.

Pretty much every day for breakfast I blend: two cups of almond milk, about 50 grams of this chocolate whey-protein powder stuff, one banana, some amount of coffee, and depending on the day, some bourbon.

Cuthbert 01-23-2013 10:57 PM

I have a big breakfast most days, which tends to vary.

- Spanish omelette "tortilla". 6 eggs, 2 potatoes, 2 small onions.
- Tin of tuna, porridge oats, carton of milk.
- If I have lots of food then I have bacon, grilled beef sausages, 2 eggs with pepper, hash browns, fried tomato, toast, black pudding, fried mushrooms and a big cup of coffee. Lovely.

Holy hell. Quite an appetite you've got there.

I'll definitely give it a go, but I just realized something that makes me feel like an idiot, i've never put hash browns in my burritos! :banghead:

When I was at University at some points the only time I saw sunlight was walking home in the am.

Bloozcrooz 01-24-2013 09:42 AM

Nothing I have to stir, as in I dont like to have to mix things and blend them for a meal. I've gotten to where either a sausage biscuit or a piece of fruit of some kind. Conflicting choices I know but its whatever, long as I refrain from eatin too much.

I wonder who voted for anal beads here.

It all depends. Sometimes it's oatmeal, sometimes it's nuts, sometimes it's yogurt, sometimes it's a mixture of those things, or maybe something else completely. Today I had mixed nuts, Greek yogurt, and a pack of apple cinnamon Belvita.

Guys do you also eat various things everyday for breakfast and not just one thing in particular?

Cuthbert 01-24-2013 10:16 PM

Yeah, I've eaten pizza and curry for breakfast before too.

I don't see why breakfast should be limited to a set amount of foods and everything else considered inappropriate. Most people will probably think it's disgusting to eat curry for breakfast but I love it. Chicken balti, rice, naan, mint sauce... can't go wrong

I can't understand how some people start their days without breakfast. Just leave their house and go to work or school without eating. It's ridiculous to me. I'd feel ill and not ready for the day if I did that.

Try going two days without eating and pulling a 13 hour shift. Makes you feel really healthy about your life choices.

djchameleon 01-24-2013 11:08 PM

my weekdays are just some nice soggy cereal honey bunches of oats with almonds

and my weekends are usually something egg related. Omelets, poached eggs, scrambled, fried w/e.

Freebase Dali 01-24-2013 11:17 PM

Weekdays, I eat a cup of yogurt with a combination of fresh blackberries, blueberries and/or strawberries, an egg fried in olive oil, and a piece of wheat bread toasted with some Land o Lakes butter on top.

Weekends... f*ck, I wake up at like 3 in the afternoon and start drinking.

Gotta have balance.

I hate how some people expect you to eat certain kinds of food for breakfast, and claim you're weird or exaggerating if you eat things like sausage or drink alcohol. We can all eat whatever we want for breakfast. Some people need to understand that. For example my parents.

Heated up my falafel from the other day and drowned it in tahini sauce for breakfast. Not bad all things considered.

People eat these kind of things very often here in my country. Especially for breakfast.

Well I live near Palestinian villages and they eat these kind of things on a daily basis. They tend to put it in small boxes and eat it quickly with pita before going to work. Pita is a kind of round bread that is often eaten with Hummus by the way. And hummus is....hmm, sorry, cant explain every single thing!

I actually had hummus and pita with it. Hummus is mashed chick peas w/ olive oil, lemon juice, salt and tahini.

Burning Down 01-25-2013 11:15 AM

My boyfriend eats pita bread all the time. He often dips it in plain yogurt too which just sounds gross to me, lol.

I actually do the same on occassion but with greek yogurt. Its actually quite common and supposedly good for your stomach as the cultures create good bacteria in your system.

I only buy Greek yogurt now. He introduced me to it and now I don't even eat the other stuff. It's also less fattening overall, but it tastes like it should be fattening.

Whiskey 01-25-2013 09:00 PM

I dont really like pita bread with yogurt but I often make a toast or barbeque some hotdogs and put it inside the pita bread, and spread some ketchup on it. Tastes like heaven, trust me on that one.

Cuthbert 01-25-2013 09:15 PM

Never had it with Greek yoghurt but toasted pitta bread with taramasalata (Greek dip made from fish eggs I think) with a salad is bloody lovely indeed.

Not for breakfast though, more of a summer evening meal.

Cuthbert 01-25-2013 09:41 PM

Anyone ever had wood pigeon? There is a fat, loud wood pigeon who splashes about in my bird bath and scares all the doves and tits away.

It is illegal to fire a gun near houses, if I can find another humane way to kill it (I'm thinking a crossbow?) then I can get myself a delicious meal out of it and stop him scaring the other birds away, so I'm looking into killing him.
