Practically never. I consume all my media through my PC, and its mostly online streaming content, and of that most of it is youtube, or Twitch.TV streams.

Only thing I watch TV for is the OCCASIONAL Top Gear, and the even more occasional episode of Red Dwarf. And even then, only if I'm forced to be downstairs for a while and would be bored otherwise (IE waiting for parcels, etc)

Ah okey. Personally I watch TV a lot. Theres not even a single day that I dont watch TV. I cant really watch TV streams or online streaming content on the PC because my PC is somewhat weak so it plays the media slowly. Furthermore, my PC monitor is much smaller than my TV so its less convenient for me because of that.

Since you said never, I thought if Never would be a good option for the poll. I didnt think about it when creating the poll actually. ITs a pretty good idea actually. If a moderator is reading this, please add the option Never in the poll for me.

I watch my tv quite a bit. Most of the time it's not on, I just like to keep an eye on it so it doesn't run away.

Occasionally.

There are days where it doesn't get turned on at all as like the poster above says I consume most of my media online.

I bought a lovely new telly in September though, so since then I've been watching more telly but use it mostly for gaming, watched most of the UK Masters snooker recently. I watch nearly all televised football too.

Well yeah. As you probably know there are some things that can only be watched on TV.

I'd say the vast majority of TV can be streamed online, in the UK anyway. I don't have Sky, but everything I watch on my telly can be watched online at the same time. I had to do it for a while and stream Match of the Day when I broke the ariel.

Channels 1-5 can be watched live on their official websites for example.

Well personally watching TV on the computer feels a bit awkward to me. Even if it might be more convenient for some people. Whats ariel though homie?

We got a TV and a cable package when we moved in here, and we've turned it on approximately 3 times in 5 months.

Who are the "We" you are referring to? Your wife?
