but you're only allowed to post on MB, and if you tell anyone that you're on a lonely island, the racist mode of the cd-player will turn against you and play conway twitty for 6 hours, on full volume, which you can't turn off.. |

But there has to be a catch.. Uhmm...Oh yeah. While you watch the porn you have to listen to genesis ...HA! |
To be honest it's prog fans that are going to need porn the most, so that's fair.

So this cd player has gotten uber powerful and must be destroyed! Or why not just have us be stranded at a Sandels resort already.
|
I got stranded in Carlisle with no music one.
How I didn't throw myself under the next train I don't know. Oh yeah I remember, because waiting for that f*cking train was the reason I was stuck there for 4 hours. |
How much does such a CD player cost?

I found myself trippin on acid in the back of a pick up on I 75 in a rainstorm once with no music. I was very very cold! |

But very often I can't listen to it. Usually i'm outside, when on acid, so i can climb on trees, or swim, or just lie on the ground. But I love music to mescaline. It kinda made me horny, lol :D |
If listening to music on acid tripped you out, just imagine making it. I didn't know it was possible I could do such things.

But I could play piano on mushrooms. Actually pretty good. On acid, i haven't tried to play instruments, because i usually take it on festivals, or just out in the nature.. |
The perfect music for any desert island
http://vangeliscollector.com/images/oceanic.jpg And I would NEVER get tired of it! Well, maybe after the 84 millionth spin... |

Like.."after the 84 millionth spin of the album you'll get rescued?" nobody has tried talking to the sharks so far, maybe they are friendly :/ but actually that's a good idea. 84 000 000 spins. then you get rescued. by a superhero of your choice. (not batman) |

oh yeah..he's not allowed to rescue you. ok then you might be doomed. I'd save you, but i'm trapped on a lonely island myself |

Paul Simon—Graceland This is my vote, or at least one of them. Why? Well, for starters, because it's a great album without a single bad song on it. It's also pretty varied in mood and style and the arrangements are fairly complex—all things that would help hold my interest for however long I was on the island. Plus, I've enjoyed it for 25 years and never gotten tired of it so that's a pretty good sign for some island staying power. |

I'll take a leap of faith. Rather than opting for an old favourite like The Beach Boys' Pet Sounds, The Beatles' Revolver or Simon and Garfunkel's Bridge Over Troubled Water, I'll go with Tame Impala's Innerspeaker, which I have not yet heard. But if it's anywhere near as good as Lonerism it'll do. Plus, I won't tire of it as quickly as one of the others, which I've already heard hundred of times.

I mean. You're stuck on that freaking island.. Imagine that! The magical CD-player would pretentiously laugh at you :/ He's really a damn bastard. But actually I find your idea of taking an album you do not yet know very good. Because if you choose an album you already know, you will most likely choose one of your favourite albums, which you will most likely have heard a million times before.. |

Probably the only album I'm still not tired of after intense listening, even after 5 years. I think it can handle a lifetime more. |
