Story of my life. Car broke down one day, and I've been biking around town ever since.

Thing you hate most about Frownland?

Thelonious Monkey 12-09-2014 07:49 AM

The fact that he insists this is music.

What's for Xmas dinner?

DwnWthVwls 12-09-2014 10:34 AM

Scungili Salad, Stuffed Fish, Mussels/Clams in Sauce, Spaghetti, Broccoli, Scallops, Fried Shrimp, Salad, and Mashed Potatoes.. Idk if I'll be getting it this year, the family is all over the place atm.

If the idea of 4'33 is to absorb the sounds around you than is it considered disruptive if you decide to make random noises in the audience?

John Cage was fond of indeterminacy, not knowing what would happen in a piece, so I would think not. He would probably enjoy it because it adds a new element to the piece. He also once said something along the lines of every person watching a performance in his/her own way, and it's as much their right to do as they please as it is for him as the composer. Plus in a lot of the performances people start talking once they realize that the performers aren't doing anything.

What was the last essay you wrote?

DwnWthVwls 12-09-2014 10:43 AM

An 8 page lab report about the conservation of energy.

An essay that details how the Great Awakening is largely an interpretive fiction created by historians for my religion class.
