The dice have led me to page 9 of the Psych&Prog subsection, where, as is usual for sub-genre definitions, no clear answer was found for the OP's challenge, "Define prog-lite".
I wonder if we can do any better today? https://www.musicbanter.com/prog-psy...prog-lite.html |
Page 13 of the Talk Instruments section has a thread that invites us to comment on the bagpipes, an instrument which, more than most, is often regarded as something of a joke:-

I spin the roulette-wheel and the little ball lands in...... page 70 of the Punk section:-

@Lisnaholic: Do you take recommendations? I thought this was decent enough to bump.

^ I'm really sorry, Neapolitan, but I have only just noticed your post. Of course a rec is welcome, and I'll bump it in a minute.
In fact, I haven't been bumping threads for a while because I really miss rubber_soul. He was my most regular early-morning companion in thread bumping, always ready to post a comment on whatever genre came under the microscope on a particular day, always ready (in my sister's phrase) "to improve the shining hour". So when he left I really didn't have my heart in this game any longer, but today, fired up with coffee and Neapolitan's timely reminder that rubber_soul was not the only forumista willing to play Bump&Blitz, I'll give it another go. Here's Neapolitan's suggestion, officially bumped and blitzed, so I hope I'll see some guys re-engergizing this timeless topic for discussion:- Quote:
