does any-one know simular artists like George Thorougood?
i like the high energy blues rock like thorougood.
also any artists that sound like or are simular to Xavier Rudd (he is an Australian) like the john buttler trio.
as i also like blues and roots.

Well, no similar artists simply because I don't know them :-), but some really good blues rock bands are:

(Washington - A New Order Rising) blues-folk rock, great singer, very cool paced
(Spiritualized - Ladies and Gentleman we're floating in Space) Radiohead-like Rock but more blues and folk stuff
(Eels - Blinking Lights And Other Revelations) fantastic new album from E, every blues and country rock fan should own this album
