What's wrong with Isaac Brock as a guitarist?

He's not the best in his band...

I want a guitarist with his own style though, not one that adapts to whoever the other guitarist is. You can barely make out Johnny Marr on We Were Dead Before the Ship Even Sank.

Yet he's one of the most distinctive guitarists ever...Don't judge him by Modest Mouse.

I think you can, there's some guitar parts in songs like Florida and Steam Engenius which are the definitely the sort of jangly pop style he does.
