My son has been homesick at school, so to cheer him up I played this over the phone last night on the baritone uke I gave him as a child. Now it's firmly stuck in my head - but that's all right as it's one of my favorite songs.

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=YwQwA_kFxoE New England is the perfect post-political end-of-history pop song but this one is about the roots of England's homegrown radical tradition. Shows the cultural impact of Christopher Hill's great book of that name, that's where the guy who wrote it got the story from. https://pictures.abebooks.com/isbn/9780140218206-us.jpg |

Crazy Lixx's Never Die (Forever Wild) just won't leave my head. I can't work with the song playing. I'm too busy playing air guitar. I hum the hook when I'm doing almost anything else.

Made You Look by Meghan Trainor, which is a problem because it's such an irritating song that it makes me want to puncture my own ear drums with a pair of pliers.
|
It’s been alternating between Land of Milk and Honey and Magic Town (both by The Vogues) for the last few days.

a lot of the hair metal song I listen too, but most notably... Welcome to the Jungle, Pour Some Sugar on Me, and Fallen Angel... because they're just so good man.
