Heh. I was baffled by the appeal 21 years ago when my older brother excitedly played Gish to me for the first time, baffled when they got really big a couple years later, and continue to be baffled that they weren't forgotten in the mists of the 90s when that decade ended. They have a couple songs that are okay but that's about it.

In all seriousness, Jesus Jones is one of my favorite bands. I've actually considered doing a thread on here at some point where I review all their albums.

I would have NEVER put you down as an EMF fan! In all honesty they got a lot of flack over here for their bouncy Dance music with a little Rock thrown in but I kinda like them for throwaway music and picked up Schubert Dip a month or so ago mainly for the memories. They have reformed recently and come from just a few miles away and are doing a few festivals.

Jesus Jones were sort of similar to EMF but I never really got into them. I hope both of you are fans of Pop Will Eat Itself as they were one of the originals of that Hybrid sound over here and had more humour and better sons I am biased though for various reasons!

I dig PWEI but not nearly as much as Jesus Jones.

I like Wonder Stuff. I saw them open for Siouxsie and the Banshees about 20 years ago and they were great.
