And Devendra Banhart really bores me, but I've only heard one of his albums and I can't remember which. Some of my picks from lesser known bands...

Yeah she wants revenge's vocalist sings that way on purpose, it's not how he sings. And that song is poorly written.

I think its common knowledge Interpol pulled from Joy Division. Some said too much. Some had not heard She wants revenge.

And if you havn't heard cripple crow, or don't know if you've heard it then why point that out. At least we both knew what we were talking about with SWR.

Sorry that I decided to actually discuss something on a message board. The Devendra Banhart album I own is Rejoicing in the Hands, but I couldn't remember the name at the exact moment I posted that and I couldn't look it up. That album bored me, so I'm not a fan of Devendra Banhart.

why do you wanna listen to new music, do you like it, or are you just interested?

Because I like listening to new original stuff but not had much chance to over the past year or so , so lots of good new bands on small labels that I would normally pick up on slipped under my radar.
