ha ha no i wasnt implying TBS and modest Mouse sounding anything alike. thats exactly why you would like it because it is the same genre but with a completly different sound. i dont really see the point in mentioning 2 bands which sound alike. because a person will go eg. "oh yer i like thursday so i should check out thrice" (i LOVE both, but they do have a simmilar sound) and therefore they do not get a chance to expand their musical horizons.

saying that....

if you like thursday you will like alexisonfire

if you like nirvana you will like silverchair

if you like after the fall you will like end of fashion
