My friend almost broke her arm.
at a concert. Yes. |
My friend got his nose bridge piercing ripped out. That was pretty nasty.. Blood everywhere and shizz.
I almost had my jaw broken this one time too. The bouncers were pullin everyone down, so I got thrown on the floor and then this kid comes along and jumps on my face. Great... I love the paramedics they have there though :) Theyre always so old and kind, like grandparents, the type to give you cookies and milk. Heh. Im lame. |
^ eeee that's nasty about the piercing.
Nothing too bad for me, elbowed in the face once or twice. I'm small so I generally just get squashed and pushed around. You don't notice it till later on anyway, when you wake up the next day and find all the bruises. |
I have half-lost the hearing in one ear.
That's kind of a pisser. |
Oh yes & Once the train terminated the stop before ours.
Which is about 15-20 mins on the train. So the train people got a bus. & This was like 2am. & Then it was packed & we had to wait for ages & it was lame. |
Got flat footed in the side of the head at a school gig once...that was fun, or throwing up in the Maiden pit
|
Guns n Roses - The whole thing :(

well..i got kicked in the face by a f*cking hardcore dancer or two stepper or whatever you call them, and i blacked out. when i came to i was on the floor being stepped on. another than that....i saw social D and we were really close to the front where everyone pretty much just pushed everyone else around. so while i being tossed around...my shoe comes off. i reach down to grab it and get trampled, so now ive got my shoe but im being kicked in every possible place to be kicked. when i finally got up, i decided i'd had enough of that...so i started fighting my way through. the huge amounts of people there...i make my way out of on pit...just to end up in another....by the time i get to the other side of the second, this marine guy punches me in the gut and throws me back in. (not cool) i finally made it out of the crowd and almost passed out on the pavement. other than that though...social D was great. |
Wyclef Jean refusing to play music and mocking my school while performing. I've heard many great things about what a good performer he is.. but my experience was terrible.

^you are the coolest chick ever. my worst ever was at a rise against show in ottawa, there was a guy there with no shirt on and the HAIRIEST ****ING BACK I'VE EVER SEEN! and i got crushed up against him in the pit... it was sweaty, it was rank, and i almost puked right there.

I have you all beat.
I have had my head cracked open with a pool stick at Mosh Olympics '05 I have had my jaw broken when I saw The Heathen Propoganda and RazeKill in '04 and at the NOVA Metalfest, I twisted my ankle AND got knocked out twice. as in blackout. from getting punch in the head. |

EDIT: and some idiot cut my wrists and blacked my eyes at a hawthorne heights show. |
EMOWND!
but seriously, i was bleeding like woah from the poolstick. I mean, who brings a pool stick into a pit? this is why i hate OBW, they start stuff and it's not fun |

Ninja's are cool, faux tough guys suck.
I'm down with flips and flailing. I'm not down with crew beatdowns. |
this is like a battle to see who's the most hardcore at shows..
I'm still tough as nails.. |
When I saw Graham Coxon when he spoke to the crowd he did so in a really stupid high pitched sqeaky voice.
To this day I have no idea if it is his actual voice or if he had a bet with his band that he could do the whole gig doing an impression of Joe Pasquale |
I had a fat bloke on one side of me and one really tall bloke for a while.
The tall one kept apologizing, the fat one just...sweated. So I drifted really far away from my friend. Then someone from behind was grinding against me [bastard!]. I lost a shoe and a scarf [why did i bring a scarf]. And got trod on the hands while trying to get them, miraculously I found them in the end. I could barely breath, it was good when I could though :3 But yeah that wasn't really much. |

I was at this American Idol concert one time, and we were SUPPOSED to have gotten prime seats...somehow they ended up being at the very top...I was all spaz-tastic thinking I was gunna fall.
Plus, Bo wasn't there :[ |
Grateful Dead '91 @ RFK Stadium:
I'd like to preface this post by saying that I never was a big Dead fan, but friends talked me into going… and then talked me into doing lots, and lots of different (legal and, ahem… illegal) substances. To start with, we waited more than 2 hours in a 5-mile long line of cars to get into the stadium… in June… in an '83 Impala with no A/C. Then, when we did finally park, the preshow festival in the parking lots lasted about 3 hours with about 60,000 dirty hippies sweating and stinking in 100 degree heat, all of whom were dancing in drum circles, trying to sell you toast slices, beads, or whatever the Hell else they thought they could get a dollar for, all the while asking everyone they met for a ticket to the next show ("Hey man, you going to Jersey next? Can I get a ride?"). I ended up losing my friends (or vice-versa), and wandering around by myself dazed and confused for the rest of the afternoon. It gets worse… Dwight Yoakam opened the show - badly. And then when the Dead finally hit the stage, I appeared to be the only person in the entire stadium who thought that the band was absolutely God awful (even with Bruce Hornsby). Add all of those factors together, and it easily equals up to the worst concert I've even been to. |
Maybe a month ago, I went to see my friend's band play. After the show I go outside and see maybe 11 kids/scenesters in some little gang jumping another friend of mine. I go over there and his head basically feels like goo. So then I spent the night with him in the hospital.

I have a fear of heights And I like Bo (as a singer) |
The Dillinger Escape Plan/Between the Buried and Me/HORSE the Band show at St. Andrews.
It was awesome. More fat metalheads than you can imagine though. My friend got punched in the stomach and coughed blood all over someone's hair. One kid was stupid enough to crowd surf and got kidney punched, all his money stolen, his face bloody, and his arms broken. ****. |
nothing too bad, I passed out at an Our Lady Peace concert (before they started sucking), still not sure why that was....
|
^when did they not suck???

worst experience i had at a concert just had to do with the band. It's was the sprite tour with OAR, the roots, talib, several others and N.E.R.D. and i don't kno if this is a common thing or if they just had a bad night but MAN did N.E.R.D SUCK!!!!! I not only started to fall asleep during their set, but we actually got up and left along with the rest of the audience!!! blew my mind!
|
bruce ****ingson stole my shoe, true story, my mate fainted and they pulled him over the bar so i went to crowd surf over and some prat knicked my shoe mid flight and threw it at bruce, he picked it up and put it in the back and later on after the show i had security guards hunting the stage and behind the barrier and coming back with nothing. had to go all through my favourite bands gig shoeless and all the way home i had to throw my sock cause it stank of beer, mud and piss.
