If you had...

If you had to go on a desert island... and you had to bring only one discography (all the songs of one band) Which discography would you take with you?

In my case it would be: Rise Against

franscar 01-24-2006 07:04 PM

Radiohead.

And I'd have a damn good time.

Laces Out Dan! 01-24-2006 07:09 PM

Bob Marley I already got it homie All 16

Merkaba 01-24-2006 07:11 PM

Kyuss

Because quite frankly nothing says tropical, psychedelic, hard, eerie, soothing and composed like Kyuss.

And that is where The Circus Leaves Town.

Muzak 01-24-2006 07:26 PM

Rammstein

mosesandtherubberducky 01-24-2006 07:35 PM

Rage Against the Machine,

For some reason they never get old.

explosions-in-my-pants 01-24-2006 09:52 PM

PerFeCTioNThrUSileNCe 01-24-2006 10:05 PM

aghh...ehhh....errr....ummm....well....

gosh...id either have to go with unearth or pink floyd. hard choice...because neither of them really ever seem to bore me.

im going to say unearth, because i think i might go insane if i had to listen to pink floyd for eternity.

sleepy jack 01-24-2006 10:27 PM

PerFeCTioNThrUSileNCe 01-24-2006 11:31 PM

Scarlett O'Hara 01-24-2006 11:33 PM

They didn't stop recording after he got the arse you realise. Some of their better stuff was released after 1979

hiu 01-25-2006 02:24 AM

Talking Heads or Miles Davis.

littleknowitall 01-25-2006 10:27 AM

the ramones.

Accipiter 01-25-2006 10:41 AM

Hmmm. I'd say Deftones. :yikes:

IndiElectronica 01-25-2006 10:42 AM

hmm... assuming this includes live/singles/b-sides? I'll prolly go with radiohead too... SO much music out there and different styles to keep me happy (though I don't care much for their recent stuff... that's beside the point)

The_Juke 01-25-2006 10:57 AM

Rush

Second thought as much as I would miss not having Rush, if I took a real crapy band I would be constantly reminded of how awful most music (on the radio) is and how lucky I am to be on a desert island....

The Fall.

It`ll probably take me at least a decade or 2 to get through this lot...

Shooting Star 01-25-2006 07:21 PM

The Fall are pretty damn prolific.

ManicDepression 01-25-2006 07:38 PM

That is rediculous. Utterly.

PerFeCTioNThrUSileNCe 01-25-2006 08:57 PM

crazy...honestly how many bands have put out that many albums...?

by the way, i like your signature. never fails to give me a laugh.

missblueyes 01-25-2006 09:13 PM

Dave's got a crap load as well :) i'd be set for the first 100 years lol

The_Juke 01-25-2006 09:53 PM

Black Sabbath has somthing like 27
Dio has around 22
Iron Maiden has around 24 but if you count the EP's it probably doubles.
I think George Strait has 50 some....

I think I will take the Paris Hilton CD to the desert island...
