No they aren't.... Many people go to clubs to listen to MUSIC, if you know what that is.

i like my electroclash (soulwax, ladytron, lcd soundsystem, etc) or remixed indie classics in a 'club' fashion best....

i go for the classic dance tunes ( ala the chemical brothers or various one hit wonders ) simply because noone here plays any new wave indie, otherwise that would be my choice.....if i ever heard anything by lcd soundsystem, hot hot heat, franz ferdinand, the rakes or the likes, i would probly go mental, even if i'm not drunk ( which is usually the condictio sine qua non for me to dance )
