Haha I never would have picked you for a Phishead... I bought A Picture of Nectar last year and I enjoy it. I can imagine it would have been a good live experience.

In addition to my eagerly anticipated shows from earlier (Camera Obscura, ISIS/Jakob, Faith No More, Meshuggah, Pixies, Fat Freddy's, Black Seeds / Salmonella Dub / Pluto / Katchafire / Midnight Youth etc), I also have these coming up:

* Echo and the Bunnymen + Black Lips
* Yo La Tengo
* Clutch
* Eagles of Death Metal (announced to be coming with FNM)
* Pavement
* Groove Armada

I've never listened to the Cribs but apparently they're coming too. I might go to the BDO if I can get time off work and have money by then... the Decemberists, Groove Armada, Mars Volta, Devendra Banhart and Mastodon will be there, amongst others.

I'm not really much of a live music fan, but I'm going to see Laura Marling in a month or so (A christmas present for my girl).

Haha this is totally weird, but I might see you there. Depending on which of the two shows you're going to... lol.

P.S. How can you not be much of a live music fan?!

Live music is like 10 times better for some bands. Normally the ones who have been doing it for years and years. Newer bands though, they can suck really bad. It's not super rare to find a band who can play their stuff well live, but it's rare to find one who can play it better.

Good Lord. I'd love to go there!

Hoping to see Casiotone for the Painfully Alone next month. Other than that, there's really nothing worthwhile on the horizon.
