Turns out that I took a no cancellation discount rate on my hotel for the Los Angeles shows, so I'll be catching Ken Vandermark and Nate Wooley on one of the nights. Trying to find a show for the second night, I might just call it a loss and not have to spend second day in LA.

Mastodon and Primus are coming to town in a month. Strange combo, but both bands are sweet so I can't complain in the slightest.

I just went this past Monday to see the university's symphony orchestra. (I live in a college town)

I'm not big on that sort of music, but seeing it live is pretty cool. They're leaving soon for a couple of shows in China.
