u2 swept the awards.....should i go on? what a joke....who votes for this shit anyways? corporate execs? oprah fans? yo mama?

they did a song w/linkin park, jay-z, and paul mccartney. leave it to the grammy's to ruin paul mccartney for me. thnx for nothin academy.

when is the last time the Grammy's actually supported and gave awards to good music. This is a non-topic, as any music fan doesn't care!!!

when i heard on the radio that U2 got those 5 awards i really was not suprised at all, some corporate award giving some mainstream overhyped band some awards who dont deserve them, basicaly just because there the only ones some middle aged business men in suits have actually heard of.

that's so true, those awards are completely insignificant and obviously given by people who know shit about music....i mean, fall out boy was nominated for best new act......nuff said....

I think U2 get some more prizes than they should especially because of Bono's involvment in so many things ... It's politics after all.

The problem is that the awards are no longer representative as quality is concerned. Happens in other places too (Oscars) ...

All we can do is just mumble for some days and keep on listening to the music that's good for us :)

As much as I hate to admiy it, I loved, uh, really liked Bruce Springsteen's performance.

And there will probably be another U2 lovefest at the Brits next week

They certainly did not deserve the album of the year award ( or the four other ones they received, for that matter).
