So a selection of sh*tty overproduced crap is enough to write off all the amazing bands that have come out of canada, yet all the insanely uninspired sh*t that comes out of the US is just not mentioned at all?

2 bands don`t make a country great at music , look at the crap thats come from there before that.

Trust me, they make up for every ****e band from Canada.
Plus, there are actually a million and one great Indie bands outta Canada today

Most of them sound the same to me , seems to either be post rock or Arcade Fire/Talking Heads lite
