Brand New Demos
 

I didn't really know where to put this, but i've listened to them quite a bit. The new album is gonna be really good, i'm definetly gonna get it once it comes out. Lacey's voice is morrisseyish on a few of the tracks its nice. If anyone wants them hit me up and what do ya'll who've heard them think of them?

Is the name of the band 'Brand New' and they put out a few demos?
Or is the band actually named 'Brand New Demos?'

Name of the band is 'brand new', and they have nine leaked demos. Should've been more clear in the original postt.

Well in that case, I like Brand New. I own Deja Entendu and it is average.

i had there demons for a long time..

Brand new seem to have changed there sound a bit...

to be honest about something.. i thought that they were Ethans band's inspiration for changing there sound.. cause Brand New did it.. but yea..

anyways there new stuff isn't half as good as there last two albums... its very dry, and very depressing, with only one song that comes close to a pop song.. non of there new stuff is really catchy, and it had to grow on me and still kind of is.

this band doesn't suck, and there new demons don't suck, but its not as good.. not in my ears.. its too dry and just can't compare to the old stuff.. maybe it will grow on me enough that i'll love it but i can't see that happening.

I like it way more then the old stuff. It's easily better then Your Favorite weapon which was a mediocre pop rock album. Deja Entendu was a really good album, but from what i've heard Fight Off Your Demons either ties it, or beats it. Once all of it and the finished versions come out its going to be one of the best albums of the year even if it gets overlooked because its an "emo" album. Lyrically its taken a step up, and Lacey's voice is better hes more comftable with it and who cares if its not poppy enough? Theres more to an album then bitching about TBS and playing the same music they are, with a weak vocalist, mediocre musicians and bland lyrics.

TBS and Brand New have sound completely different... TBS have more of a punk sound to them and the singing doesn't have the same greatness to it. melodies are much better with Brand New.

Brand New always have been able to right amazing lyrics, and make it sound good, wether is was simply just bitch fighting with TBS it was still amzing writing.

and i wasn't saying i wanted it to be a more poppy sound on there new album in there demons, i was just stating that they only have one pop song... and well its not event hat catchy...

i like there new stuff.. well right now i don't mind it but the sound is weak and doens't catch me like there old stuff. there lyrics are moer amazing then ever i'll give them that... but unless there new stuff changes a bit more before the record actually comes out.. i wouldn't go buy the album.

i am mostly into depressing music anyways.. which this album brings alot of. there last two albums were pretty depressing too but the sound was different.. with there new sound there lyrics are not only depressing but so is there sound in every single way.. and there's also much less screaming.. not that there was ever a lot but that was one of the first things i noticed with there new stuff.

i might not be getting so caught up in there new demons right now because of the depressing sound becuase i've been completely happy with everything so i've been not relating to the sound so much.. but like i've said it will grow on me i'm sure.
