Great Pauses?!?!
 

I have about twenty or so songs were the song will reach a climax and then make a subtle stop for a few seconds and then start playing again, which can be a great way to pump up the audience if preforming live. The only ones I can think of right now are Dare - Gorillaz and Millionare - Queens of the Stone Age, any other good ones?

My vote is for Girl From Mars by Ash. Half way through the song it sorta fades out and there's a slight pause and then it gets back into the song. It's amazing.

The Smiths - That Joke Isn't Funny Anymore
Morrisseys voice fades out, and then the music fades back in, shivers up me spine.

Queens Of The Stone Age - God Is In The Radio.

Great pauses?

I'll beat Urban to this one...the silence that follows every U2 song.

It's just a quickie stop at the beginning, but I love the little break at the beggining of "Pepper" by Butthole Surfers.

Queens of the stone does a great job at this, they have it on a lot of songs.
