Top 10 of All Time

What records will you never get sick of hearing? Make your top 10. With album art and details into the style of the music and why you like it so much.
(you can only post 4 pics at a time, so divide them up)

1. Between The Buried And Me - s/t
http://www.metal-observer.com/covers/cov1955.jpg
What should be talked about when discussing the best album ever made? The musicianship? The songwriting? The lyrics? The reason I think this is the best album ever, is a combination of all of the above, with one important addition. The emotion. One of the most emotionally fulfilling records I've ever heard, coupled with memorable riffs, solos, and outros. This album rules. Period

2. Lykathea Aflame - Elvenefris
http://www.metal-observer.com/covers/cov5401.jpg
The best Extreme Metal album ever made. Period. Untouchable drumming, sickeningly catchy and heavy guitar work, some of the richest growls ever recorded, and containing incredibly positive and well written lyrics. Unrivaled

3. Rise Against - The Unraveling
http://www.smartpunk.com/product_images/15301.gif
I can't understand how someone cannot pump their arm in the air or feel the need to rush at singer Tim McIlrath and scream back all the things he says. All the words come from the heart. As honest and utterly crushing and yet strangly uplifting as music can get

4. Buried Inside - Chronoclast
http://www.w-fenec.org/photos/2005/m...hronoclast.jpg
There is no music without message. And these guys get their point across with the vitriolic anger and energy dripping from your speakers. Apocalyptic and mind blowing. The very definition of a concept album. Beautiful

5. Yakuza - Samarsa
http://z.about.com/d/heavymetal/1/0/...za-samsara.jpg
Free form jazz, sludgy riffs, gruff vocals, eerie harmonies. This is Yakuza. And they are very, very good. Samarsa is without a doubt the best jazz influenced riff heavy metal band around.

6. Coheed & Cambria - Good Apollo, I'm Burning Star IV :Volume 1. From Fear Through The Eyes Of Madness
http://www.interpunk.com/itemimages2/113459.gif
If you like them, you love them. Recognizing Claudio's genius is a wonderful thing. The sonic catchiness is offset by the morbidity and horrific realization of impending pain and doom as mentioned in the lyrics. To listen is to love.

7. Woods Of Ypres - Against The Seasons:Cold Winter Songs from the Dead Summer Heat
http://mp3db.ru/media/Woods_of_Ypres...he_Seasons.jpg
The best Black Metal recording ever. Fight me.

8. Converge - Jane Doe
http://www.bloodzine.com/magazin/rev...e-jane-doe.jpg
The soundtrack to the worst breakup ever. Hell even I feel like hunting down the bitch that did Bannon wrong. This is true chaos and raw power. Listen and be beat down. Look at yourself and realize that you are not alone.

9. Comeback Kid - Turn It Around
http://shop.relapse.com/dbimages/sleeves/18664_216.jpg
Best live show I've ever been to happened when this album came out. Hands down, the most energetic hardcore band of the past 10 years.

10. Welcome The Plauge Year - s/t
http://www.interpunk.com/itemimages2/13627.jpg
Soundscapes, shrieking, silence, thuds, pain, noise, repeat.

Beautiful.

If you guys are interested in hearing any of these lemme know. I jock the shit out of all these bands, and would love to share it

I'm not including EPs or singles because that would be too hard.

Void/The Faith - Split LP
http://static.rateyourmusic.com/album_images/30995.jpg

1. I know this is a overdone record but I feel it's worth it. No hardcore band has sounded like Void since, which is an achievement in itself considering the influence of this record. Top notch stuff. The Faith side is more standard DC stuff. I'm not big on DC hardcore really, other than Void.

Wes Montgomery - The Incredible Jazz Guitar of Wes Montgomery
http://static.rateyourmusic.com/album_images/18119.jpg

2. The title really speaks for itself. Incredible.

Repo Man - Repo Man Sountrack
http://static.rateyourmusic.com/album_images/34824.jpg

3. Perfect movie soundtrack. I was a teenage dinosaur - stoned and obsolete. I didn't get fucked and I didn't get kissed, I got so fuckin' pissed. Using my hand for an ashtray, I'll tell you who I am, I'm the Repo Man. Indeed Iggy, indeed.

Cannon's Jug Stompers - The Complete Works 1927-1930
http://static.rateyourmusic.com/album_images/175128.jpg

4. Jug jug jug jug jug.

Blind Blake - All the Published Sides
http://static.rateyourmusic.com/album_images/256140.jpg

5. Blind Blake is possibly my favourite finger picker. Rules copious amounts of everything.

Blind Willie McTell - Classic Years 1927-1940
http://static.rateyourmusic.com/album_images/95912.jpg

6. Yeah yeash. Another great guitarist and songwriter. Bla bla bla.

Hasil Adkins - Out to Hunch
http://static.rateyourmusic.com/album_images/91331.jpg

7. Hasil Adkins was so crazy, his music reflected this.

Johann Sebastian Bach - Bach Complete, 160 CD Box (Brilliant Classics)
http://static.rateyourmusic.com/album_images/272943.jpg

8. OK, so I've never heard all this or own it. If I did, however, this is all I would get done in my life, listening to it in it's entirety.

A Handful of Dust - Musica Humana

9. Being a New Zealander if I didn't include something from here I wouldn't deserve to live. Anyways, A Handful of Dust rules, if you like noise that is.

Bad Livers - Delusions of Banjer
http://static.rateyourmusic.com/album_images/28023.jpg

10. Hahah, crazy stuff. Bluegrass should never be the same again, but it likely will stay the same since not enough people hear this.

Albums which probably should be on here but aren't
Blind Willie Johnson - The Complete Blind Willie Johnson
Minutemen - Double Nickels On The Dime
