Question Artists of two cover songs??

In the early 90s, my sister recorded some reggae from the radio on a tape. The station was either in NYC or update NY (Buffalo-Rochester region). Two of the songs were covers. One was a cover of Diana Ross' Missing You. The second is a cover of Hot Chocolate's Sexy Thing.

Can anyone help me find who might have covered these songs? Both were male singers. I would love to download them but am having trouble finding the right versions online. I've used Google and I've looked on iTunes. The artists are not Jack Radics nor Johnny Osbourne for Sexy Thing. iTunes had a number of artists for Missing You but none were the version on my sister's tape.

Please help!

SongMeanings | search results for "missing you"

They're probably not all covers, they just share the title. But thats the most I could do for you.

Thank you for the quick response! I went to the site and looked at all the songs but none matched. But I appreciate your efforts!

I'd love to hear more suggestions if anyone can think of anything.
