If he would just sell all those designer sunnies, he could probably wipe out some bad disease.

"Sorry Dad there are no Doctors around to perform your surgery but never mind, Bono is about to make a speech with George Bush about third world debt, if you breathe carefully you might make it to the end without dying"

Fact is if you are going to lecture me about my spending habits ,while at the same time hold a Swiss bank account full of money that should be going towards educating kids & looking after the sick & elderly ,then I will always think you are a hypocritical tosser.

I am yet to see evidence of Bono doing what is commonly known as "putting your money where your mouth is".

His big mouth appears on all the TV stations, telling us what he wants us to do over and over again... while his money is kept nice and safe in Switzerland or Holland.

If you actually donate to any of Bono's causes then I think you're being stupid. Donating money to charity is a type of investment in a type of business. As any decent businessman would tell you, you shouldn't invest in a business where the people who run the business aren't willing to invest their own capital.

The point being, if Bono doesn't think these causes are worthy of his own money then we certainly shouldn't think them worthy of ours.

You think you're so damn hot? You try coughing up 31.9 billion to help provide for the less fortunate.

If I saved someones life, and someone questioned my motive directly afterwards, I would shoot that person in the face.

Its all these socialist assh*les who give him a hard time because he actually spends some of the money he makes for a living, rather than just giving it all alway.

Of course, it does help that he doesnt have to pay taxes.

knighthood should only be for people in the military who perform very well, not celebs.
